✦ his full Japanese name, Jougasaki Jun, is a wordplay of Junjou ga saki (純情が先), which means "purity / innocence comes first" which becomes his personal principle.✦ surprisingly, has an old-fashioned and almost rigid way of thinking (e.g. shying away from sexual topic, profanities), making him sounds like a boomer at times. quite an idealist in the same aspect, as well.✦ openly fond of petite mammals and is a sweet tooth. hates everything bitter which reminds him of his daily meds, but is trying to drink black coffee recently.✦ his favorite food is anything full of strawberries and cheese (or cream). he also likes fish and other kinds of seafood like a cat he is. handles spicy food without a sweat.✦ his favorite color is crimson red; and his favorite flower is red rose. who said he doesn't like bold things?✦ owned a black cat as a pet, named Oreo. yes, those cuts on his right arm are none other than Oreo's masterpiece. he's a jerk at times, but Junsoo has a stable eating and sleeping schedule thanks to him. loves women.

ㅤㅤPark Junsoo was raised moderately well, rather strictly, by his parentsㅤㅤㅤwhen they were home, it was. Junsoo's mother was an international affairs manager then, while his father was an owner of a small software-developer company; hence, the only son was left alone because of his parents' busy schedule, raising himself to be an independent and self-sufficient person. his best friend was none other than his own interest in technology, influenced by years of looking over his father's shoulder—leading him to spend almost all of his leisure time playing computer by himself, if not spending time with his childhood friend Daejung, often accompanied by chocolates his mother brought from overseas.

ㅤㅤJunsoo spent his freshman year all alone, only accompanied by his all-time beloved laptop. fortunately, he met his best friend, Jung Chaewon on his second year of high school entrance ceremony—moreover, he also met his first crush in a heart-thumping culture festival. his first love was a social butterfly, not to mention that he was liked by almost everyone—a complete contrast to Junsoo's dark personality—so he already know by heart that he had no chance to be close with such a star. still, Junsoo gathered up his courage to convey his feeling to him—only to be instantly rejected later.ㅤㅤThe aforesaid unfortunate event, being verbally bullied and mercilessly dumped in front of his crush's gang (which is almost the entire 3rd year), left a huge scar on Junsoo's heart—completely tinted it in pitch black. driven by a heavy resentment, Junsoo's neurons developed a malicious intent; which is a plan to use his skill of hacking to demolish his former crush's social media accounts, furthermore, to spread their scandal to the entire school.ㅤㅤAt that point in time, Junsoo became more submerged in such dirty activities, collecting people's catastrophic history, and became his school's number one feared anonymous existence, unbeknownst to his best friend.ㅤㅤNow if he recalled, perhaps the reason why he became that mad was becauseㅤㅤㅤit was not quite love, it was envy. he wanted to become him. he wanted a little spot under the spotlight, he wanted attention, something that he didn't get from his parents; only to fall into the deepest depth of the darkness. his timidness and fear to deal with people's judgment directly (such as hiding behind pseudonyms) despite having lots of passion and things to show also grew from this incident.

ㅤㅤAfter his parents' divorce and his graduation from his former high school, Junsoo went to her mother's hometown in Shizuoka prefecture, lived with her family, and changed his name to Jougasaki Jun to attend a local university. he's his father's son though, so sometimes he would introduce himself by his original, Korean name, as the last resort in maintaining their familial bond. Junsoo can speak and write decent Japanese ever since he was a child, so it was not a big problem for him to ace the new place. he's not a sociable person though, so gaining friends was a little bit difficult. still, the hardest part was his parting with his best buddy Jung Chaewon.ㅤㅤJunsoo's college life is a fresh start for his popular phase. with such advanced hacking skills, even a hundred times more prominent than when he manipulated his crush's account for the very first time, Junsoo started to raise his prestige as a mysterious grey-to-red hat hacker, using a pseudonym Joker, which controls his academic institute's moral value from behind the curtain.ㅤㅤEvery single problematic civitas, and those who have a massive scandalous activity that probably will hurt the University of Tokyo's pride, has been mercilessly banished since then. of course, the authorities knew about Joker's existence, but let him be as long as his action is reasonable as if they could stop him anyway. Joker himself only targeted people with dark secrets. though in due course, he sometimes agreed to accept special requests from many people that relied on his job, from collecting blackmail materials to uncovering celebrities' scandalsㅤㅤㅤas he himself needed alternative income to live on his own, also, to gain more fame. he became an urban legend; that if people access an extra page on Tokyo University's official website, http://www.u-tokyo.ac.jp/404notfound, at 4.04 a.m., they would have forty seconds to send their request before the site crashed by itself. around this time, he met Sakaki Sera who was a member of the newspaper club, passionately trying to discover about Joker's game, but to no avail.ㅤㅤJoker has never shown himself in the public, but sometimes leaves a logo of a dorobo-neko designed after his lovely Oreo.

ㅤㅤAfter Wu Yi Xian came to his life, Joker vanished into thin air. Junsoo felt really safe and in peace while in a relationship with the Taiwanese, having no urge or whatsoever to even touch his hacking device. Unfortunately, Xian didn't stay long; but that wasn't enough for Joker to have a comeback, considering that it's not even a case like Go Heejin's. Junsoo was grieving and feeling disappointed, both towards Xian and towards himself, but it motivated him to live a quiet life instead.ㅤㅤTime flies, and nowadays, Park Junsoo had already graduated from Tokyo University, leaving him no time and the sense of authority to take good care of scandalous activities amongst the civitas academica (despite working as his lecturer's research assistant at the same place), his "part-time job" as an illegal affair miner had also gone into a long halt. his other personality was still there, but asleep most of the time. Junsoo, following the suggestion by his lecturer to start expanding his professional experience by assisting an international scale project, would therefore also temporarily move to the United States of America alongside him. how about his Joker's career, then? Who knows. Uncle Sam's Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency are far more capable than Japan's national surveillance organizationㅤㅤㅤas if he himself wanted to challenge a big deal, whatever it was, anyway. a reckless act is a huge no-no. even after he came back to Japan, staying quiet is definitely the way to go!ㅤㅤUnless . . ?ㅤㅤYes, unless he had to make use of his ability, for both the wisest and the dumbest reason possible: for the sake of his friend, and for the sake of someone who looked slightly like his former boyfriend, albeit meeting him just by a complete chance (which was also for the sake of his ego, perhaps). Junsoo finally found Joker again in the process of desiring to solve that case, stronger, this time───even strong enough to dominate his original personality. Ack! Help, somebody?

ㅤㅤIt was morning, a morning where he mustered up the courage to call his mother after a while. come to think of it, he hadn't seen her since his graduation. feeling safe enough to contact a family member now he has a good-paying job, Junsoo found his mother suggesting he not use the privilege from his lecturer of abusing a vacant space in the campus dormitory and giving the facility to the freshmen instead.ㅤㅤFeeling guilty, Junsoo rushed to look for a new place to live, only to be invited to be a new caretaker of Kumadai Mansion, his former "home sweet home" which he once left due to his memories with Wu Yi Xian. while it's emotionally dangerous, Junsoo thought that Kumadai Mansion indeed is a suitable place to stay that has lavish facilities without having to pay for rent and exemplar security, moreover since his Joker personality has now become quite difficult to control and might need his hunger to be satiated by doing his favorite hacking at times. it should be safe to "go berserk" at the mansion, since there's his fellow "electronic" friend Ella Malikova staying as a caretaker as well. this is a gamble and he's winning it!ㅤㅤ. . . yes, he's winning, except on one thing : the prior he had to make use of his ability, a kindness that resulted in him being caught by a strong and mighty head of a well-known political family in Britain, and was forced to be a force to guarantee the safety of his identity. he didn't get locked in an underground basement (please don't), fortunately, and its youngest heir too was always there to lend a helping hand, but Junsoo and Joker have yet to make peace with this . . . and with his promise.
